In honor of Inventor's Day, on June 26, 2025, in Moscow, at the Russian University of Transport (MIIT), an extended meeting of the Moscow City Council of VOIR and the Committee on Inventive, Rationalization and Patent-Licensing Activities of the Association "League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises" was held on the topic: "Features of organizing and holding congress and exhibition events in the field of invention".

The extended meeting was attended by members of the Committee on Inventive, Rationalization and Patent-Licensing Activities, members of the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers, heads and specialists of defense industry enterprises and organizations of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The following addressed the inventors with a welcoming speech:

- Vladimir Mikhailovich Kononov — Chairman of the Central Council of VOIR, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the 8th convocation, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education;

- Klimov Alexander Alekseevich — Rector of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT);

- Zakharov Maxim Aleksandrovich — Head of the Department of Intellectual Property, Military-Technical Cooperation and Expertise of Supplies of Arms and Military Equipment of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation;

- Elistratov Vasily Vasilyevich — Head of the Department for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Technical Sciences;

- Zezyulin Dmitry Ivanovich — Chairman of the Committee for Inventive, Rationalization and Patent-Licensing Activities of the Association "League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises", Chairman of the Moscow City Council of the Public Organization "All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers".

The following speakers spoke at the plenary session:

- Zezyulin Dmitry Ivanovich, PhD in Law, Chairman of the Committee on Inventive, Rationalization and Patent-Licensing Activities of the Association "League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises", Chairman of the Moscow City Council of the Public Organization "All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers";

- Vasily Alekseevich Sarantsev, Head of the Patent and Licensing Service of JSC Russian Space Systems;

- Vadim Ivanovich Obrazhey, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Head of the Intellectual Property Department of the A. Lyulka Design Bureau, a branch of PJSC UEC-UMPO;

- Vaschenko Oleg Aleksandrovich, Director of the Department of Analysis and Management of Intangible Assets of JSC Shvabe;

- Ershov Mikhail Yuryevich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Moscow Polytechnic University";

- Nikashin Alexander Kirillovich, Head of Laboratory at the Russian Technological University — MIREA;

- Knyazev Sergey Evgenievich, inventor, member of VOIR;

- Andrianov Yuri Semenovich, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Mari El, member of the scientific and scientific-technical councils of PSTU.

In their reports, they comprehensively covered the state of congress and exhibition activities at their enterprises and proposed specific measures to intensify this work, with the aim of developing inventive and patent-licensing activities on the territory of the Russian Federation.

At the extended meeting, a decision was made to create inventor groups of the Moscow City Organization VOIR in the following organizations: VDS LLC, Hydroproject Institute JSC, RUT (MIIT), and the Expert-Analytical Center Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution.

In a solemn atmosphere of the meeting, dedicated to the Day of the Inventor of Russia, for their high contribution to the development of invention, the following were awarded with the medals of the Moscow City Society of Inventors: Vadim Ivanovich Obrazey, Head of the Intellectual Property Department of the A. Lyulka Design Bureau, a branch of PJSC UEC-UMPO; Vasily Alekseevich Sarantsev — Head of the Patent and Licensing Service of JSC Russian Space Systems; Olga Nikolaevna Berezina — Head of the Department of Military Scientific Information of the Peter the Great Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation; Inshakov Aleksey Vladimirovich — Director of the Center for Complex Projects of the RUT (MIIT).

The following were awarded with honorary certificates of the Moscow City Organization of VOIR: JSC Russian Space Systems and the Russian University of Transport (MIIT).

Honorary diplomas of the Moscow City Organization of VOIR were awarded to: Natalia Viktorovna Nikashina, Associate Professor of the Department of Types and Languages ​​of the Institute of Languages ​​of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia; Anton Nikolaevich Larionov, Head of the Department (legal protection of intellectual property and patent and licensing work) of the Federal Penitentiary Service, military-technical cooperation and expertise of supplies of weapons and military equipment of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Galina Vladimirovna Malamed, Deputy Director of the Museum of History of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT), was awarded a diploma of gratitude from the Moscow City Organization of VOIR.

After the event, the meeting participants visited the Museum of History of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT).
